Better Living Australia (BLA) warrants to the Original Purchaser (OP) that the Therapeutic Sleep System (TSS) will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use, as outlined below:
Warranty Periods
- Pure Fusion Mattress & Bed Base: 10 Years
- Australian-Made Mattress & Bed Base: 10 Years
- Caravan Mattress & Bed Base: 10 Years
- Pure Harmony Mattress & Bed Base: 5 Years
- Remote Controls: 1 Year
What’s Covered in This Warranty?
This Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period.
Normal Use Defined
"Normal use" refers to usage that aligns with the product’s intended purpose, care instructions, and weight capacity. For example:
- Use indoors on a flat, stable surface.
- Avoid placing the TSS in environments with excessive humidity or extreme temperatures.
- Regular maintenance as outlined in the product manual.
What’s Not Covered by This Warranty?
This Warranty does not cover:
- Conditions, malfunctions, or damage caused by:
- Accidents, misuse, improper installation, or testing.
- Unauthorised repairs, modifications, or alterations.
- Environmental factors, such as excessive humidity, mould, or pests.
- Cosmetic issues or defects that arise from normal wear and tear, such as:
- Sagging, changes in firmness, stains, burns, pilling, or loose covers.
- Damage caused by failure to follow maintenance instructions.
Warranty Process
Warranty Repairs
To obtain warranty service:
- Contact the BLA Customer Support Centre at 1800 25 38 93.
- Provide your original point of purchase receipt or sales contract.
- Confirm your identity as the Original Purchaser.
BLA reserves the right to charge an upfront callout fee of $229. This fee is refundable if the issue is covered by the warranty.
Repairs Not Covered by Warranty
If the issue is not covered, a service and repair charge will apply. A quote for repairs will be provided prior to the service. If the repair is later determined to fall under warranty, the full charge will be refunded within 14 business days.
Additional Provisions
- Non-Transferable Warranty: This warranty applies only to the Original Purchaser and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase from an authorised retailer is required.
- Customer Responsibility: The OP is responsible for selecting the TSS for their needs and following maintenance guidelines. BLA is not liable for a change of mind or improper product choice.
- Statutory Rights: This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL). These guarantees cannot be excluded.
