What’s covered in my warranty?

Better Living Australia ABN 45 998 980 598 (BLA) warrants to the Original Purchaser (OP) only that the Therapeutic Sleep System (TSS) will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use of the TSS for a period of ten (10) years on the motor and massage unit and for a period of ten (10) years on the Pure Fusion Mattress and five (5) years on the Standard Mattress, from the date of the original purchase, not deliverer date (Covered Period). This BLA warranty is not transferable from the OP to any other person. BLA does not warrant any problems of the TSS (1) relating to the accident, improper installation, improper testing or unauthorised repair, or (2) cosmetic problems or defects that result from normal wear and tear under the ordinary use, and do not affect the performance of the product. If the TSS develops a covered defect within the Covered Period, and this is reported to BLA within the Covered Period, BLA will, at its option, either repair or replace the product without charge. Under no circumstance shall BLA be liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of the Product or arising out of any breach of this Warranty; the exclusive remedy for breach of this warranty shall be repair or replacement or credit towards replacement as set forth herein. There are no express or implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, other than the warranty described on the face of this warranty.

 

What additional provisions should I be aware of?

Because it is impossible for BLA to know the purposes for which the OP chose, purchased or acquired the Product or the uses to which the OP will put the Product, the OP assumes full responsibility for the selection and use of the Product. BLA is not liable for the OP’s change of mind or incorrect choice of the TSS for the OP’s unique needs.

 

How long does this warranty last?

The Motor, Massage Unit and Frame have a ten (10) year warranty. The Pure Fusion mattress has a ten (10) year warranty and the standard mattress has a five (5) year warranty, please be aware that normal wear is not covered under mattress warranties, this includes, but is not limited to some sagging, change in firmness, stains, burns, pilling, or loose covers. The Bamboo Mattress Topper (if purchased and indicated on the Sale Contract) has a one (1) year manufacturer warranty. The wireless remote controls have a one (1) year warranty. There is no warranty on the mattress covers or any additional spare parts including but not limited to sheets, castors and side rails. The warranty does not cover minor or negligible manufacturing anomalies that do not impact the performance of the TSS.

 

What happens with repairs that are not covered by the warranty?

If the TSS incurs a problem which is not due to manufacturing Fault, a service and repair charge will become payable for BLA to service or repair the TSS, prior to the service call taking place. If the repair is found to be a warranty claim, then the charge will be refunded in full, after the service call within 14 business days to a nominated bank account. The call out fee is $129.00.

 

What should I do to obtain a warranty service?

To obtain a warranty service or to get assistance with technical support, please contact the BLA Customer Support Centre on 1800 25 38 93. To take advantage of this warranty the OP will be required to supply an original point of purchase receipt or sale contract and prove identity as the OP. BLA reserves the right to charge an upfront callout fee for all inspections, this fee is chargeable at the sole discretion of BLA and is subject to change dependant on location and time spent. The call-out fee will be refunded to you where the fault is found by us to be one covered by this warranty. Call out fee is $129.00.
